Campaign-2: Dominic struggles to get up on feet during Covid
Background & Who is this person
This is Dominic and his family. He lost both his legs to polio.
Inspite of the polio, he used to earn a living by selling detergent powder, but now the Covid pandemic has in reality crippled him of any earning.
His wife works as cleaner in a house. Their two kids are studying in grade 7 and 4..
Currently they struggle to make both ends meet.
Why does this need a consideration
When we get to see people who struggle to stand on their legs, and just need a small one time help, lets show the power of ONE.
Dominic is a person who wishes to stand on his legs, sadly, Covid has financially crippled him.
When volunteers saw the condition of Dominic and his family, they offered to help him with some funds to survive the couple of months of pandemic.
Dominic was determined that he would rather prefer to stand on his legs than to ask for monthly maintenance. He requested if we could help to build a small shop to earn a livelihood for his family than ask help for their day to day expenses.
His larger family has a some land, from which he has little portion for himself where he can build a shop.
About the Campaign
The primary campaigner is Habeeb and he is based in Kochi. After returning to India few years back, Habeeb is running a small charity service, under the banner "Towards Humanity".
Habeeb is known to me for many years and has been my collegemate as well.
Together with his wife, he runs many such campaigns in service of humanity.
For this campaign, there is a need for INR1.5Lac. Habeeb has already collected around INR 25k through his circle.
OneRupeeRevolution intends to collect around INR75k for this campaign.

Amount collected:: 73% (₹55,000 out of ₹75,000)
Once collected, the money would be sent to "Towards Humanity", but we will continue to track the status of the campaign.
